My Story began in early 2008 when I asked my friend Larry to help me save money on editing my website. Instead of doing it for me, Larry taught me html coding so that I could edit the website myself.

Soon I started messing around with the design of my website because I was learning how to do it. I really enjoyed designing and was told that I had a talent for it. The more I played around with designing the more questions I had and the more frustrated I became because I couldn't do all that I wanted to do.

To make a long story short, let me just say that I have been very busy learning to set up my own websites and websites for others. Because I my 25+ websites, I can say that I have learned alot on my own. If I can't figure out how to do something, I call my friend Larry - he claims he is always happy to talk designing with me - or I go do a google search for the coding.

Some of the jobs I've done for others has really challenged me and streached my ability to solve problems. But as my brother says, "I'm not surprised you figured it out. You don't quit until you do." He is right! I think that's why I enjoy designing so much. I am able to creat something nice and overcome the obstacles. When I solve the problem, I feel so exhilarated when I win that way.

I do not own all the software to do the job, that comes with time as I make more money, so I have to do a lot by hand. No expensive Dreamweaver program or Flash to make the job easier but that's okay. I am sure that will all come in time. I wanted to take go back to school and get a degree in web development and design until they told me it would cost $34,000. I couldn't see doing that at age 62 when I no longer need all the other classes for a degree. So I am on my own, doing what I love to do.
